LAST OF THE SEASON - Ucluelet Tide to Table Expedition - Spearfishing & Harvesting - September 30-October 3rd, 2024

Join our (last of season!) annual Tide to Table spearfishing & harvesting expedition of the season! All included, 3-nights accommodation at the stunning Snug Harbour Inn, wood fire sauna every night, campfire dinner, hot tub, a 20ft expedition boat, guides and captain all included. 

Guided by professional freediver, spearfishing coach and instructor trainer Luca Malaguti. 

Captained by professional sailor and explorer Denham Trollip.

INCLUDED: 

- 3 days freediving, spearfishing and harvesting around Ucluelet, BC (1 shore day and two boat days) 

- Professional guiding, coaching and safety by Luca Malaguti (Sea to Sky Freediving Co.) 

- Professional captain and expedition boat by Denham Trollip (Fluid Ventures) 

- 3 nights of accommodation at the stunning ocean-side Snug Harbour Inn

- Breakfast included and campfire dinner (family style we cook together!) every night*

- Wood burning sauna and hot tub

- Learn about fish species and sustainable/ethical hunting 

- Learn about safe spearfishing techniques: speargun and polespear 

- Learn how to gut, prep, and cook certain species

- Cook together as a group and enjoy our catch! 

NOT INCLUDED:

- Ferry ride from Vancouver to Vancouver Island, British Columbia

- Transport to and from Ucluelet, British Columbia

ITINERARY: 

Day 1. Monday September 30, 2024: Check in at 12PM at the Snug Harbour Inn  

> Please take 6:25AM sailing from Horseshoe Bay, BC to Nanaimo, BC or arrive a day before

> Get settled in, evening presentation and workshop 

> Sauna and hot tub session 

> Campfire dinner and early bedtime

Day 2. Tuesday October 1, 2024: 

> Meditation and yoga before breakfast

> Shore dive for fun, get to know the place and test gear

> Sauna session and hot tub 

> Campfire dinner, cook together our catch and early bedtime  

Day 3. Wednesday October 2, 2024: 

> Meditation and yoga before breakfast

> Boat and exploration dive (big day here) 

> Spearfishing, harvesting and photography all day

> Sauna session and hot tub in the evening

> Campfire dinner, cook together our catch and early bedtime

Day 4. Thursday October 3, 2024: 

> Meditation and breathing session in the morning

> Breakfast and pack (for check out) 

> Early morning boat dive and exploration

> Return to Ucluelet Harbour 

> Gut, scale and pack fish (to bring home!) 

COST: 

1,999 $CAD + taxes and applicables fees per person

* Currently limited to only 5 divers/spearos (expedition boat limit)

TERMS, CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

i. Payment Details:

• Due to limit spaces, we are asking for full payment upon booking.
• For multi-day expeditions, deposits are required upon registration.
• Secure credit card transactions protected by Wix Bookings and Stripe.
• Canadian clients can e-transfer to info@seatoskyfreediving.com.
• PayPal transfers also available (3.5% additional transfer fee).

ii. Cancellation Policy (2023):

• Full refund 60 days before the event starting date.
• 50% refund between 60 days and 30 days of event starting date.
• No refund after 30 days of event starting date.
• Please note that any refunds might be subject to withholding of payment and/or transfer fees.

iii. Terms & Conditions

• Participants agree to have the adequate skills, health, fitness and meet the all pre-requirements prior to signing up for any event.
• Participants assume they're own responsibility in sourcing their own personal required gear and equipment prior to a course.
• Participants acknowledge we are diving in open water, and thus subject to adverse weather, tides, currents and other environmental factors.
• Due to certain environmental factors beyond the control of Sea to Sky Freediving Co. an event may be delayed, postponed or cancelled.
