Ucluelet 4-Day Expedition - Spearfishing & Harvesting - October 6-9, 2023 - Ucluelet, BC

Join our last 4-day spearfishing & harvesting expedition of the season! 3-nights accommodation on a retrofitted luxury cruise boat, wood fire sauna every night, food, a 20ft expedition boat, guides and captain all included. Guided by professional freediver and instructor Luca Malaguti (Sea to Sky Freediving Co.) and captained by Denham Trollip (Fluid Ventures Ltd.). 

Based on last year's feedback, we've decided to make our expedition 1 day longer 4 full days and 3 nights!

INCLUDED: 

- 4 days spearfishing and harvesting around Ucluelet, BC

- Professional guiding, coaching and safety by Luca Malaguti (Sea to Sky Freediving Co.) 

- Professional captain and navigation by Denham Trollip (Fluid Ventures Ltd.) 

- 3 nights of accommodation on board of the lurxurious and classical InnChanter Boat

- Food included (breakfast and dinner), snacks will be provided for lunch

- Wood burning sauna every evening

- Learn about fish species and sustainable/ethical hunting 

- Learn about safe spearfishing techniques: speargun and polespear 

- Learn how to gut, prep, and cook certain species

- Cook together as a group and enjoy our catch! 

NOT INCLUDED:

- Ferry ride from Vancouver to Vancouver Island

- Transport to and from Uclulet, BC 

- Alcoholic beverages 

ITINERARY: 

1. Friday October 6, 2023: Pickup in Ucluelet Harbour, BC by Noon (12PM)

> Please take 6:25AM sailing from Horseshoe Bay, BC to Nanaimo, BC

> Settle in at the InnChanter Boat, get rooms sorted and briefing

> Light afternoon spearfishing/harvesting session (2-5PM)

> Sauna session (5PM-6PM) 

> Dinner and early bedtime  

2. Saturday October 7, 2023: Full day out on the water

> Breakfast in the morning 

> Spearfishing and harvesting all day 

> Sauna session (5PM-6PM) 

> Dinner, cook together our catch and early bedtime  

3. Sunday October 8, 2023: Full day out on the water

> Breakfast in the morning 

> Spearfishing, harvesting and photography 

> Sauna session in the evening

4. Monday October 9, 2023: Half day out on the water

> Breakfast in the morning 

> Spearfishing and harvesting half day 

> Return to Ucluelet Harbour 3PM (to catch 6:15PM sailing from Nanaimo, BC to Horseshoe Bay, BC)

COST: 

1,799 $CAD + GST/PST per person

*50% deposit required upon registration to secure accommodation

TERMS, CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

i. Payment Details:

• Due to limit spaces, we are asking for full payment upon booking.
• For multi-day expeditions, deposits are required upon registration.
• Secure credit card transactions protected by Wix Bookings and Stripe.
• Canadian clients can e-transfer to info@seatoskyfreediving.com.
• PayPal transfers also available (3.5% additional transfer fee).

ii. Cancellation Policy (2022-2023):

• Full refund 60 days before the event starting date.
• 50% refund between 60 days and 30 days of event starting date.
• No refund after 30 days of event starting date.
• Please note that any refunds might be subject to withholding of payment and/or transfer fees.

iii. Terms & Conditions

• Participants agree to have the adequate skills, health, fitness and meet the all pre-requirements prior to signing up for any event.
• Participants assume they're own responsibility in sourcing their own personal required gear and equipment prior to a course.
• Participants acknowledge we are diving in open water, and thus subject to adverse weather, tides, currents and other environmental factors.
• Due to certain environmental factors beyond the control of Sea to Sky Freediving Co. an event may be delayed, postponed or cancelled.
